AllMusic Review by

Quirky disjointed rhythm interlaced with sexy, sprawling basslines, computer noise and keys, and the queer yackety-yack of an oddly sincere John Lydon-ish vocal style. All sealing together to create something far outside the box, something experimental, catchy, and standoffish all at once. Consisting of the water-tight rhythm section from the now defunct grandiose Atlanta trio, the Hal Al Shedad (James Joyce and Benjamin Lukens), and the peculiar mind behind one-man band Retconned (Jonathan Lukens), with production from the hands of the 3rd Shedad member (Ed Rawls). All in all, what is here sounds like the disfigured child of the mating of the bandmember's past projects, with slight pushes in innovation around the borders.
