Going under the alias of Mondi, Naohiko Sugimoto compiles together various noises that are taken from a synthesizer to produce this mini-album of an LP. Without the use of a sampler, drum loops, or an actual rhythm to shape each track into a song, a feeling of distilled ambient is left to provide a relaxing, almost hypnotic vibe throughout all eight tracks. Although there's nothing clever or unique that makes Mondii stand out in the electronica genre, his minimal use of techno-noise has a pleasant, trance-like appeal in which anyone could get lost.
