AllMusic Review by

At the beginning of the 1950s, few singers were as big and as popular as Eddie Fisher. His brassy, overemotive style sold tons of records and made him a regular fixture on the pop charts, got him his own TV show and a big enough name to end up marrying a movie star or two during his six-year run. This two-disc, 45-track anthology collects all the highlights from that magnificent run. Every chart entry from 1950 to 1956 is here in pristine sound from the RCA Victor masters and topped off with a mid-charter stray that Fisher cut for the same label ten years after his time in the sun was a thing of the past. Excellent liner notes from Colin Escott along with this deluxe package makes this second look at Fisher's work all the more interesting.
