AllMusic Review by

One of rock & roll's great wildmen and a thoroughly unique talent, Jerry Lee Lewis first reached stardom when he cut "Whole Lot of Shakin' Going On" for Sun Records in 1956, and while he would go on to record great music for a handful of labels over the course of a career that has spanned seven decades so far, his recordings for Sun still rank with the strongest and most influential music of his career. Lewis was signed to Sun Records from 1956 to 1962, and The Complete US & UK Singles As & Bs, EPs & LPs: 1956-62 features every song Lewis released through Sun during that seven-year span. While an abundance of unreleased Lewis tracks have emerged from the Sun vaults over the years, this set is still an impressive and efficient overview of Lewis' first great era, featuring most of his biggest rock & roll hits and proving that while scandal may have put a spanner in the Killer's career in 1958, his talent remained as impressive as ever.
