AllMusic Review by

This double-disc mixed bag of Louis Armstrong performances features the legendary jazz musician in a variety of live and studio settings from throughout the 1950s and '60s, and includes guest vocal performances from Velma Middleton, the Armstrong outfit's featured singer from the 1940s on. Included are a particularly affecting Dixieland version of "La Vie En Rose," as well as classics like "St. James' Infirmary," and Armstrong's signature tune for most of his career, "When the Saints Go Marching In."
