AllMusic Review by

That's Amore is a single-disc, 28-track overview of Dean Martin's early pop hits recorded for Capitol in the late '40s and early '50s. Among the standout tracks are "Powder Your Face With Sunshine," "I'll Always Love You," "You Belong to Me," "You Was," a rare duet with Peggy Lee from 1948, and the 1953 chart-topper "That's Amore." Also interwoven throughout the program are several standards, including "When You're Smiling," "Who's Sorry Now?," and "That Lucky Old Sun." This ASV collection is a sufficient career overview of Dino's best work of the era.
