AllMusic Review by

The first album of singer/composer Nosly reveals a sensitive interpreter, an expressive composer, and intelligent lyricist still heavily influenced by his idols. Promenading through a diversity of genres, which can be excused as a novice anxiety for demonstrating versatility, the album ranges from Djavan-inspired samba ("Japi") to soul music ("Teu Lugar," with Ed Motta-like vocals), from reggae ("Gueno") to bossa nova ("Coração Na Voz"), from 14 Bis-type melodies/folk arrangements ("Taquicardia") to George Benson-inspired funk ("Funk Pra Ela," with a beautiful jazz piano improv). "Noves Fora" (written with Zeca Baleiro) may be one of the most attractive tunes of the album, where his voice timbre is best suited.
