This self-release CD by avant-garde composer and former Musica Elettronica Viva member is a dubious looking Xerox CD that appear to be a bootleg of some sort, but it is in fact an album which extends on the themes of his excellent Space Guitars on CRI. Densely intertwined guitar soundscapes and loops put this work in a similar vein to the guitar orchestrated works of Glen Branca and Remko Scha, peers of the avant-garde/new music scene that share an interest in the inexhaustible possibilities of the six-string. Curiously, elements of this work surface in experimental rock of Sonic Youth and Jim O'Rourke, which indicates that, while Allan Bryant may be an obscure footnote in the avant garde, he is certainly greatly admired for these groundbreaking works.
