AllMusic Review by

This Lp splits its material between 1953 and 1956, featuring trumpeter Shorty Rogers heading a pair of overlapping big bands. All dozen selections are Rogers' originals; best known are "Coop De Graas" (featuring the french horn of John Graas), "Infinity Promenade" and "Sweetheart Of Sigmund Freud." Joined by some of the top West Coast players of the era, Rogers is heard in top form, making one wish that all of this material had been reissued in chronological order on CD.
