Schrasj are a band that progresses from a smooth guitar-layered pop style that's easily comparable to Velocity Girl, to a crunchier addition of distortion that remains with an all-around buoyant appeal. At least this is the case for their A-side off "Tower" -- which at times sounds as if it was taken from a Versus album. Relaxing male-female vocals complete the formula that oddly enough isn't found on the more steadfast B-side of "Lemon Song." Being more of a mid-tempo ballad, the flip side does have an overall appeal that could inspire one to reach for their zippo lighter and hold it in the air, but at the same time, it doesn't have the attentive punch of "Tower."
