The first official post-Badlands project from ex-Ozzy Osbourne guitar phenom Jake E. Lee, who took over the coveted spot after the tragic death of Randy Rhoads, the debut long-player from Red Dragon Cartel (the name reflects Lee's Japanese-American heritage) was recorded in 2013 with producer Kevin Churko at the Hideout in Las Vegas. Built around Lee's signature shredding, and rounded out by bass player Ronnie Mancuso, drummer Jonas Fairley, and English vocalist D.J. Smith, the ten-track set includes guest vocals from Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Paul Di'Anno (Iron Maiden), Maria Brink (In This Moment), and Jeremy Spencer (Five Finger Death Punch), as well as contributions from Rex Brown (Pantera), Scott Reeder (Kyuss), and Todd Kearns and Brent Fitz (Slash).
