In 1967, Columbus, now without the Invaders, tried to crack the U.S. market by moving to San Jose, where he briefly hooked up with local British mod-inspired group the Art Collection. Two cuts on this four-song seven-inch feature Columbus as lead singer, including the single "Kick Me," which had a harder rock feel than any of his previous recordings, and the previously unreleased "Snap Crackle & Pop," which was projected as the follow-up but never issued. The EP also has two rather fey Who-ish numbers that the Art Collection recorded without Columbus, "Millicent" and "I'm a Boy and You're a Girl."
