This very brief CD, which only contains 16 and a half minutes of music, was conceived as a demonstration disc by the Houdini's, an excellent jazz sextet from Holland. Despite the colorful titles, this sampling of the group's music is fairly conventional, with the opening "No More Yesterdays" being mostly ensemble and "Straight Ahead to Meet Paradise" not living up to the potential of its name. The best moments are by Barend Middelhoff's rollicking tenor on "Long Hair Shuffle." For the Houdini's' completists only.
