This two-track single contains the first new Goddo track in over a decade. But it's doubtful this is the way Greg Godovitz and his Toronto power trio wanted to stage their comeback. The mid-tempo rocker "New York City's Burnin'" was inspired by the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001; it was recorded and released on Canada's Bullseye label within three weeks to coincide with a Red Cross benefit the band staged in their hometown on October 4, 2001, raising more than 7,000 dollars for charity. This single also featured a previously unreleased live version of "Dreams of New York City," recorded during the band's 25th-anniversary concert dates the previous year.
