AllMusic Review by

Continuing his uncompromising and revolutionary lyrical approach, French-Algerian urban poet Nadir Kouidri, aka Ridan, offers his unique take on a whole host of issues including anti-capitalism, political corruption, and racism on his fourth studio album, Madame la République. Inspired by the classic chansons of Georges Brassens, Serge Gainsbourg, and Jacques Brel, the follow-up to 2009's L'un Est l'Autre includes the single "Ah Les Salauds."
