AllMusic Review by

RCA celebrated its centenary anniversary with a parade of Latin reissues, most of them welcome to fans of Latin music who'd long suffered through brief, confusing reissues. Mejor del Cha Cha Chá: Colección RCA 100 Años de Música comprises two fully stocked discs of the cha cha chá, with the stylistic rulers Orquesta Aragón anthologized several times over with some of its best performances ("El Bodeguero," "Señor Juez," "Cuatro Vidas"). Also included are multiple selections from Enrique Jorrín y Su Orquesta ("El Usurero del Amor," "La Blusa Azul") and Orquesta America de Ninón Mondejar ("Poco Pelo," "Los Marcianos"), all of them a far cry from the crossover "cha cha" LPs common during the '50s.
