Jimi Hendrix's Live At Woodstock captures the highlights of his literally incendiary Woodstock performance, including "Message to Love," "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)," "Villanova Junction," and his legendary rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner." Interestingly, the DVD of Live at Woodstock doesn't exactly follow the tracklisting of the companion CD; instead, the majority of the concert video comes from the second half of his set. Fans expecting to see all of Hendrix's set may be disappointed by the heavy editing, not only of the setlist itself but of his comments inbetween sets. Likewise, the disc's lack of extra features such as a biography or discography is also somewhat disappointing. However, Hendrix's performance makes Live at Woodstock worthwhile for most of his die-hard fans.
