Ian R. Clark is probably better known through his work with Detroit electro/new wave excavationists Le Car. Lesseninglesson was the name Clark went under for his first solo release, and was the second release on Le Car's home-label Ersatz Audio. Clarke's penchant is clearly for abstraction, and Lesseninglesson's slow, erratic rhythms and sparse electronics wouldn't sound out of place on Schematic or even Rephlex. The EP's B-side contains one long track, "Natanto," not so far off from some of the material on Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works, Vol. 2.
