AllMusic Review by

Music Theater at Lincoln Center, a repertory program devoted to mounting limited-engagement summertime revivals of major Broadway musicals at the recently opened arts center in New York City, put on Kismet, opening on June 22, 1965, with Alfred Drake and Henry Calvin from the original 1953 production, along with Anne Jeffreys, Lee Venora, Richard Banke, Rudy Vejar, Albert Toigo, and Anita Alpert. "Bored," a song written by Robert Wright and George Forrest for the 1955 movie version, was added to the score. It was sufficiently well received to justify RCA Victor's recording a new cast album. The 1995 CD reissue added a bit more music.
