Following up their first full-length, Kisses from Hanoi, this Ohio foursome adds another five-track EP to its legacy. These songs are propulsive, energetic, and tight street punk. The only thing missing from their leftist punk rock is the "Oi! Oi! Oi!" Among others, the liner notes give thanks to the Hudson Falcons, with whom they share both musical, lyrical, and political similarities. The last track is a rather singular version of the Replacements' "Bastards of Young," a track that fits with the hungry desperation revealed among the other songs of the album. Paul Westerberg would get a kick out of this. Good stuff.
