Grado is the third release by Shenanigans from Graz. It doesn't stray far from the successful formula that they've displayed on their previous records. The band seems to play with more command and confidence on this album and original compositions are steadily being recorded with more frequency. Grado introduces new fiddler and Austrian native Harald Regenfelder to this international-friendly ensemble. His playing compliments the band perfectly aside Canadian piper James Libbey, Irish singer Annette Casey, British guitarist/singer Robert Cheese, his bassist brother Richard Cheese, and fellow Austrians Tina Untersmayr on pennywhistles and drummer Michael Willmann. With a string of three quality releases Shenanigans have established themselves as the premier Celtic rock band in Austria and perhaps all of central Europe.
