Tommy Olivencia's only Capitol/EMI Latin release received very little airplay and definitely was no match for anything the band hadn't already done in the past. It is noteworthy for one of Sonora Ponceña's lead vocalists, Héctor "Pichie" Pérez's only recorded participation in the orchestra (he replaced Héctor Tricoche, who departed for his solo career, and stayed with the band for two years); he delivers the title tune with gusto. A medley of some of Olivencia's late-'60s and early-'70s hits is always welcome, but the original versions of those classics are hard to duplicate. An interesting piece, this remains for completists only. It was produced by Julio César Delgado, TH-Rodven's former top producer.
