AllMusic Review by

Though the rockabilly singer Gene Simmons' biggest hit was with "Haunted House" in 1964 on the Memphis Hi record label (which later inspired Gene Klein to take the stage name Gene Simmons in the rock band Kiss), he also recorded 15 tracks for the Sun label during the '50s. This Bear Family compilation features his entire output for the label, including his two singles, "Drinkin' Wine" and "Crazy Woman," plus many alternate takes.
