Southern California snot-rockers Smogtown play overly repetitive, skatepunky hardcore that sounds about two decades too late to come off as even slightly original. The foursome couldn't care less though, barreling headfirst with a life-or-death ferocity through this leadoff single from their second full-length, Domesticviolenceland. Unfortunately, even with a reworking of the Deviants' "Slum Lords," the three-track single offers little more than the band's typical mile-a-minute mediocrity.
