AllMusic Review by

This criminally underrated disc flawlessly mimics the indie rock ethos of Polvo's muted and subdued downtuned tunes, with striking textures and subtleties that take several listens to truly appreciate, while incorporating the styling of Radiohead's more obtuse moments. As a result, this eponymous debut sounds like the new generation's Pink Floyd without the psychedelic slop. "It Goes On," with a downtrodden, catchy chorus, and the quirky riff of "(It Was Just) Numbers" highlight a very strong debut from a band that embodies the Chapel Hill scene.
