Intersound's variant on Cabaret is performed by the 42nd Street Singers, an okay but not overly professional group. Though they give stirring renditions to the bevy of classic songs (including "Money, Money," "Maybe This Time," "Tomorrow Belongs to Me"), there's just a bit lacking throughout the disc. Listeners would be advised to go directly to the movie soundtrack version or the original Broadway cast for familiar versions of their favorites.
