A four-disc box that compiles extended and uncut versions of '80s singles, Back to the 80's: The Long Versions might be worth it for those who still love mainstream pop from that bygone decade. Most '80s-themed compilations use truncated radio edit versions in order to cram as many songs as possible on one disc; this does just the opposite and therefore sticks out compared to the average various-artists collection. Prince's "Purple Rain," Visage's "Fade to Grey," Pat Benatar's "Love Is a Battlefield," Propaganda's "P Machinery," Kate Bush's "Cloudbusting," and Falco's "Jeanny, Pt. 1" are just some of the tracks presented in extended form. Additionally, all 20 minutes of Vangelis' "Chariots of Fire" and all ten minutes of the Art of Noise's "Moments in Love" are included.
