It's hard for any sensitive indie rock male to not develop a crush on Amy Linton. After all, it's easy to fall head over heels for the full-time frontwoman of the Aislers Set. The later material from this band lets out an uplifting schtick of '60s girl group pop, as does her solo material on this split EP. Stewart Anderson has a rougher, guitar pop feel to go along with his laid-back vocals and home-recording production. All around, this EP murmurs four blasts of lo-fi equipment that go nicely with Linton and Anderson's playful sentiment.
