A very deceptively titled record. Fiddle player Benny Martin, whose fun-loving photo graces the cover, performs only on one cut, "Tenessee Rag." He's a fine player, and it is a fun recording with a wonderful bluegrass spirit. The remainder of the record contains recordings by a wide array of country artists from the period, such as Moon Mullican, George Jones, Jim Glaser, and others. It's actually a fine, if somewhat misguided sampler, though. Mullican's "Wabash Cannonball" is one of the finest recordings of the period, and the same can be said of George Jones' classic "It's OK." Also, the Willis Brothers excellent harmony exercise, "Footprints in the Snow," is quite a nice addition. It's a little uneven, but nevertheless, a fun sampler.
