AllMusic Review by

The final part in the quartet of EPs, this four-track selection features the title track of Costello's album, a song from his feminist side "Almost Ideal Eyes," repeated elsewhere, and a cover of "The Other End of the Telescope" by the band Sleeper, whose lead singer Loiuse Werner wrests the emotion from every single line, sometimes to the detriment of Costello and Mann's lyrics. Most interesting is Tricky's remix of "Distorted Angel," in which Costello's Catholic-guilt ruminations are given a menacing bed of tense, throbbing sound to rest upon. Costello later returned the favor by remixing Tricky's "Christiansands" on his single.
