AllMusic Review by

The Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA), which produced this compilation, probably does more to encourage the success and growth of a cappella music today than any other organization. This CD features 16 of the continent's best a cappella songs, done in a variety of styles. It opens with an arrangement of Sly & the Family Stone's "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)." Performed by SoVoSo, this was a nominee for Best Pop Cover Song at the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards, as was Boyz Nite Out's rendition of Seal's "Crazy." Possibly the best track is Extempo's clever "Bionic," which was runner-up in the Best Humorous Song and Best Female Vocalist categories. This compilation, which also contains liner notes covering each track, is an exciting sonic mural for anyone who truly appreciates vocal harmonies.
