AllMusic Review by

The second release by Daniel Diges, better known as a TV and musical theater actor, finds the young Spanish crooner performing hits from the 1970s, all dressed up in exultant uptempo arrangements with plenty of horns and disco flavorings. All in all, it amounts to little more than glorified karaoke. Songs include popular Spanish favorites from the period such as Camilo Sesto's "Algo de Mí," José José's "Gavilán o Paloma," Los Pop-Tops's "Mamy Blue," Miguel Gallardo's "Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti," Micky's "El Chico de la Armónica," and -- somewhat incongruously -- the Beatles' "Help," modeled after the Spanish version by Tony Roland. A digital edition adds three tracks.
