Although they're best known for their Andrews Sisters-styled harmony vocal recordings, the Dinnings also worked with session guitarist George Barnes on a series of studio recordings "in a country style." While these don't have the winking swagger of their more vocal jazz-oriented recordings, the appeal of these cowboy ballads and folk songs is undeniable.
