Artist Biography

Founded by Cam Floria in 1967, the Continental Singers And Orchestra is a non-profit-making, independent group dedicated to musical evangelism. The group includes 16 full-time members with a base in Thousand Oaks, California, USA. The same organisation not only oversees the activities of the nine versions of the Continental Singers (all of which feature 25 vocalists and a 10-piece orchestra), but also two permanent full-time groups, Jeremiah People and the One Act Company. They have also provided financial support and assistance to a sister organisation in the UK, though the Continental Singers UK proved to be a less successful venture. Between the various groups the Continental Singers And Orchestra have made more than 5, 000 concert appearances before estimated audiences of over four million. The various incarnations have also issued numerous recordings for labels including Jim, New Life, Word and Light Records.
