Husband and wife duo C.J. and John Milroy were fans of groups like Fleetwood Mac and Cowboy Junkies when they decided to try and put a band together. Starting in 1993, the two slowly put together Tangerine Trousers through the next few years. Known around the Detroit area for their lush and ethereal shows, they worked their way up until finally releasing a CD in the summer of 2002 (Far Above Rubies) and becoming a regular fixture on Mitch Albom's nationally syndicated radio show.
