Alt-rock revivalists Superjuice provide a return to the sludgy sounds and aggressive tone of the early 90's alternative scene. Forming when singer/songwriter Andy DiSimone and bassist Bob Troia both found themselves living in New York City in 1999 after years of knowing one another through other bands. The two began writing with one another, spending almost two years releasing singles from their web site until meeting up with guitarist Rick Heins and drummer Pete Gilbert. Debuting in May of 2002, their first album Last Against the Wall displayed a variety that set them apart from many other post-grunge artists and showcased their pop skills as well as their ability to rock.
