Having been labeled as hip-hop's "human computer, " Brooklyn based Sir Menelik would rather spend time rapping about complex sci-fi complex instead of having his lyrical content being all about gettin' some. With the support courtesy of Dr. Octagon (a.k.a. Dr. Doom, a.k.a. Kool Keith), Sir Menelik released the singles "Physical Jewels"/ "Nightwork," "Space Cadillac"/"Nightwork," and the full-length Macroscope all in 1997. Three years later Menelik took on the name Scaramanga and released the album Special EFX.
