Ron Riddle began his music career as the drummer of American progressive rockers Happy the Man. That group, while receiving a lot of critical acclaim, never really attained the commercial success that should have been due them. He also played with Blue Öyster Cult for a time and was part of the BOC spin off project, The Red and the Black. He has also worked with Gary Windo, the Burns Sisters, Stuart Hamm, David Broza, and J. Arif Verner.
