The young Christian rockers in Pound Foolish bang out loud nu-metal tracks overlaid with angst-ridden yet firmly devotional lyric lines. During live shows, they whale on their instruments and scream into the mikes just like any other up-and-coming Southern California brat rock band -- almost. When it comes to onstage costumes, the band members veer far away from their mainstream contemporaries, opting instead for baggy full-length white jumpsuits. Visually, it's Angels-With-Dirty-Faces-meets-Con-Air. Sonically, it's Korn-meets-Billy-Graham at the moment, though the band is young and still evolving. The San Diego-based foursome was featured on the Month of August soundtrack, which was released on Angelic Music in 2002.
