Plácido Domingo, Jr. (aka Plácido) is a Mexican-Spanish singer and composer. The son of opera singer and conductor Plácido Domingo (who performed with José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti as the Three Tenors), Domingo Jr. sings songs in various genres. He has also written songs for Diana Ross, Sarah Brightman, and other artists. Born in Mexico City in 1965, Domingo Jr. became interested in music at an early age. He contributed to Domingo Sr.'s 2009 album, Amore Infinito, and made his solo debut in 2010 with the EP Canciones de Navidad. In 2017 he released the album Latidos, featuring cameos from José Feliciano and Arturo Sandoval.
