Jerry Dengler (b. 29 May 1955, Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA), Frank Gilligan (b. 2 November 1955, Queens, New York, USA) and Rick Henderson (b. 29 May 1953, Beaumont, Texas, USA). Mason Dixon is the brainchild of three graduates of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. They recorded their mixture of folk and country for several small labels in the 80s and then signed with Capitol Records in 1988, releasing two albums. Their most successful singles were ‘3935 West End Avenue’, ‘When Karen Comes Around’ and ‘Exception To The Rule’. Henderson was replaced by Terry Casburn in 1989.
