Italian alternative pop/rock foursome Kash was formed in 1995, releasing their first album, called Mutamenti, in December 1997. That record, produced by Paul Chain, made the band one of the most interesting acts in the local rock scene. In the year 2000, Kash moved to the U.S. to make its following album, produced in Chicago by Steve Albini and released in 2001. In addition, the group participated in a compilation called Soniche Avventure Vl, featuring a cover of the Smiths' "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me."
