Artist Biography by

Johnny Saucedo was born in Los Angeles, CA, and lived there until he was 12. He then moved to Irvine, CA (upper-middle-class suburbia hell). The first show he went to was Depeche Mode at Dodger Stadium. He went to Mater Dei High School, a private Catholic school. The Smiths were quite influential in his teenage years, introducing the idea that consuming animals could be less than benign in a moral context. He became a vegetarian.

He then attended the University of California at Berkeley, where he majored in economics. Upon graduating in May 1998 he started working at an investment management company and soon realized that money isn't everything. He quit and took a temp job for www.reel.com that later became a permanent position. He then enjoyed a life of not having to study all night and instead focusing on going to shows, parties, and clubs in San Francisco. He went to punk and indie shows off and on for years. He also worked on creating a website with a streaming music video database.
