Artist Biography

Following the break-up of Tokyo Blade, vocalist Vicki James Wright became disillusioned with the British rock scene and moved to Los Angeles in search of compatible musicians. After a series of false starts, he finally stabilized a line-up of August Worchell and Christopher Stewart (guitars), Andy Rogers (bass) and Stephen Adamo (drums), under the name Johnny Crash. Blatantly parading traditional metal influences such as Mötley Crüe, AC/DC and Kiss, they delivered a high-energy blast of streetwise, blues-based rock ‘n’ roll on their Tony Platt-produced debut.
