Artist Biography by

Jason Nickey was born on the outskirts of Muncie, Indiana and was raised on a healthy diet of classic rock. People tell him that he is a bit of an anachronism, but true be know, he belongs to all eras. The first album he bought with his own money was Tears for Fears "Songs from the Big Chair" in 1984. The first CD he bought was "Dark Side of the Moon" in 1987. All his friends told him him he was wasting his money-CDs would never catch on. He inherited his fathers record collection, heavy on Zeppelin and Steely Dan. His First concert was Kiss-like all first concerts should be. He now spends his time going to basement shows and clubs looking for that one band that will satisfy all of his musical interests. The closest he's come so far is Tortoise. ~ Jason Nickey
