Downpore is made up of four talented guys from Long Island, NY. The rock band formed in 1997 and consists of vocalist Brian Albano, guitarist Casey Mahoney, bassist John "Dotz" Dotzler, and drummer Mike Lovino. The band was only two years young when it released its first self-titled album in 1999. The debut offers ten tracks filled with heavy guitar riffs and powerful lyrics. A few of the numbers on the recording are "Your Silence," "My False God," "Tell Me," and "Crystal Stone."
For the start of the new millennium, Downpore tossed a sophomore album, Downpore Live, to waiting fans. It was followed five months later by a third work, Just a Game. The band's music has been favorably compared to that of Iron Maiden and Tool.
When not working on new songs, or busy in the recording studio, Downpore performs to club crowds that are known to match the band's energy and try to reach the same sound volume.
