The interweaving of acoustic guitar and Indian harp produces the delicate sounds of Argentina-based duo, Cuerdas del Sur (translated: Strings of the South). Friends since the mid-1960s, guitarist Eduardo Tacconi and Indian harper Lorenzo Manlio Paris formalized their musical collaboration in 1993. Since then, the two instrumentalists have continued to explore their joint musical vision. Although they live more than two hundred miles apart -- Tacconi in Buenos Aires and Paris in Tuerto Deer, Santa Fe -- they bridge the distance with their imaginative playing.
