Artist Biography by

With their first self-released CD entitled Bleak Youngkid Dis-knowledge, Australia's Caustic Soda made their recording debut in 1996 with heavy influence of melodic pop-punk incomparable to NOFX, Bad Religion, Propaghandi, among others. Consisting of Jeremy McMahon (bass), Donnie Dureau (vocals/guitar), and Lachlan Hodgson (drums), Caustic Soda followed with their second album Music From the Motion Picture the next year; which again, was put out by themselves. With the eventual recruitment of second guitarist Adrian in 1998, Crackle Records took a liking to these guys and put out the EP Femaleviolence that same year.
