Artist Biography by

Largely serving plugged-up dub plates of funkadelic tribal-jazz, Brommage Dub is one of Sweden's more creative exports. The intensely prolific Jesper Dahlb├Ąck, also responsible for aliases DK, Seba, and the Persuader, along with DJ workhorse Jean Louis Huhta (Kozmic Niggah, Stonefunkers, Bob Hund) made the sort of far-reaching tech-house that was unlike Svek Records' usual sleaze-fixated pedigree. Although the band's unique sound began modestly with a self-titled single in 1997, the 2000 live addition of Swedish Grammy Award-winning trumpet-player Goran Kaifes was a welcome enhancement. With Kaifes in tow, the newly free-flowing three-piece blend of improvisational rhythms and redlined techno hit the Roskilde and Life Stockholm festivals over the next couple of years and a debut LP was set in motion soon after, allegedly in the form of three periodically released 12"s.
