This German quartet was formed in Hanover in 1977 by Karl Rothert (bass, vocals) and Keith Kossoff (guitar). With the help of guitarist Uli Meisner and drummer Toto Petticoato, they took the Scorpions, AC/DC and Bad Company as their blueprint for heavy-duty rock ‘n’ roll. Their first two albums failed to expand on these influences. The live album was an improvement, with the band adding sparkle and character to songs that sounded dull on record.
